What is HealUp?​

HealUp is an AI execution assistant that helps you start and take the first real action on overwhelming tasks. It breaks down complex tasks into immediate, clear steps and provides a distraction-free Execute Mode for focused completion.

Is HealUp free?​

Yes. Free tier includes:

  • 3 AI breakdowns per day at Detail Level 3
  • Full Execute Mode access
  • Up to 3 integrations

Premium ($35 lifetime) unlocks unlimited AI, advanced detail levels, and unlimited integrations.

Do I need to create an account?​

No. Guest mode works without signup - tasks save for 24 hours in browser. Sign in for permanent storage and cross-device sync.

How is this different from a todo list?​

Todo lists organize tasks. HealUp activates execution - it tells you the exact first action to take when you're stuck. Use both: todo lists for organization, HealUp for starting.

How does AI breakdown work?​

You provide a task ("File 2024 taxes"). AI analyzes complexity and generates 4-8 concrete action steps with time estimates. Each step is immediate and achievable.

What AI does HealUp use?​

Google Gemini (flash-lite for standard, flash for research). Optimized for execution activation, not general conversation.

Can I edit AI-generated steps?​

Yes. Click any step to edit description or time. Add steps, remove steps, reorder freely. AI provides starting point, you customize.

Why are some AI breakdowns generic?​

Usually due to vague task descriptions. "taxes" → generic steps. "File 2024 federal taxes as freelancer with 3 clients" → specific, accurate steps. Add notes for better context.

What if AI generates wrong steps?​

Regenerate with more context. Click Regenerate, add notes about your situation, adjust detail level, try again. 95% of issues fixed with better context.

How many breakdowns do I get?​

Free: 3 per day at Detail Level 3 (unlimited at Levels 1-2)
Premium: Unlimited at all levels (1-5)

What is Execute Mode?​

Full-screen, distraction-free interface showing ONE step at a time. Eliminates decision paralysis by removing all choices except current action.

Can I use Execute Mode without AI?​

Yes, but you need tasks with steps. Create tasks manually with steps, or use AI to generate them, then execute.

Why can't I see all steps in Execute Mode?​

By design. Seeing all 8 steps creates overwhelm. Seeing only step 1 makes it feel achievable. This is the core of execution activation.

Can I skip steps?​

Yes. Click skip or delete key. Not every step applies to every situation. Forward motion > perfection.

Does Execute Mode work on mobile?​

Yes. Full-screen experience on phone/tablet. Touch-optimized interface. Same singular focus.

What is a Flow?​

Sequence of multiple tasks executed one after another without returning to dashboard. Complete Task A → transition screen → Task B → Task C.

Why use Flows instead of individual tasks?​

Flows preserve momentum. Completing Task A creates psychological momentum making Task B easier to start. No "what's next?" decisions between tasks.

How long should a Flow be?​

Ideal: 1-3 hours total (2-3 tasks). Maximum: 4 hours before effectiveness drops. Start small: 2 tasks, 60-90 min.

Can I pause a Flow?​

Yes. Press Esc anytime. Flow saves progress. Resume later from exactly where you stopped.

Which tools integrate with HealUp?​

Apps: Todoist, TickTick, Notion (two-way sync) Calendars: Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook Calendar (export only)

Do I need Premium for integrations?​

No. Free tier: 3 integrations. Premium: unlimited.

How does sync work?​

Two-way: Create task in either system → appears in both. Complete in either → marks complete in both. Edit in either → changes sync.

Can I use HealUp without integrations?​

Yes. Integrations are optional. HealUp works standalone.

Guest vs Authenticated - which should I use?​

Guest: Try HealUp first, work on urgent tasks, privacy preference. Tasks save 24 hours in browser only.

Authenticated: Work on tasks over multiple days, use multiple devices, want integrations, need permanent storage.

What happens to my data if I don't pay?​

Nothing! Free tier includes permanent storage, cross-device sync, unlimited task history. Premium is about AI limits, not data limits.

Can I export my data?​

Yes. Settings → Export → Download JSON of all tasks. Premium: Additional export formats coming.

Is my data private?​

Yes. Tasks stored encrypted. Never shared with third parties. Only you access your tasks. OAuth tokens encrypted. See Privacy Policy.

What if I delete my account?​

All data permanently deleted within 30 days. Integration connections revoked. Cannot be recovered.

What does Premium unlock?​

  • Unlimited AI breakdowns (vs 3/day free)
  • Detail Levels 4-5 (ultra-granular steps)
  • Web research for better context
  • Reference URL processing
  • Unlimited integrations (vs 3 free)
  • Never queued (instant 5-second generation)

Is Premium worth $35?​

If you: use HealUp daily, hit 3/day limit, need ultra-detailed steps, or use many tools → yes, massive value.

If you: use occasionally, 3/day enough, simple tasks → free tier works great.

Can I get refund?​

What's Queue Mode?​

When free users exceed 3/day, breakdowns queue (~3 min wait vs instant). Premium never queued. You still get quality breakdown, just slower.

What browsers work?​

Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (latest versions). Mobile browsers supported. PWA install available for app-like experience.

Does HealUp work offline?​

Partial. Can view existing tasks and complete steps offline. AI breakdown requires internet (calls API). Sync requires internet.

What happens if I clear browser data in Guest mode?​

Tasks lost. This is why important work should use authenticated mode with server storage.

Can I use HealUp on multiple devices?​

Yes, with authenticated account. Sign in on phone, tablet, laptop - tasks sync across all.

Does HealUp have an API?​

Not currently. Future: API for developers to build on HealUp execution activation.

What payment methods accepted?​

Credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay (via Stripe).

Is payment secure?​

Yes. All payments via Stripe (industry standard). HealUp never sees card numbers. PCI compliant.

Can I use Premium on multiple devices?​

Yes. Premium tied to your account, not device. Sign in anywhere → Premium active.
