When Timer Completes

  3. Timer stops at 00:00
  4. You decide - Complete step if done, or add more time if needed

Philosophy: Timer is guide, not enforcer. You control completion.

When You Complete Step

If timer still running:

  • Step marks complete
  • Timer stops
  • Move to next step with new timer

If timer already finished:

  • Step completes normally
  • No timer dependency

Timer β‰  completion requirement - they're independent.

Mobile Timer

Optimized for touch:

  • Larger touch targets for play/pause
  • Swipe gestures for time adjustment (coming soon)
  • Background timer (continues if app minimized)
  • Lock screen controls (PWA)

Battery considerations:

  • Timer uses minimal resources
  • Won't significantly drain battery
  • Can disable if conserving power

Does timer auto-start when entering step?

No. You must click play manually. Can enable auto-start in settings.

What if I need more than +5 minutes?

Click +5min multiple times. Each click adds 5 minutes. Or reset and manually set longer time (coming soon).

Can I set custom time instead of estimate?

Not currently. Timer uses AI's estimated time. Custom duration coming in future update.

Does timer continue if I minimize Execute Mode?

Yes. Timer runs in background. Returns to same time when you restore.

What happens if timer expires mid-step?

Nothing - you keep working. Timer is guide, not blocker. Complete step when actually done.

Can I disable timer completely?

Yes. Settings β†’ Execution β†’ Hide Timer. Timer area won't display.

Does timer sync across devices?

No. Timer is local to current session. Each device has own timer state.
