Outlook Calendar Integration

Export completed HealUp tasks to Outlook Calendar (Microsoft 365) to create a visual record of your execution sessions.


Quick Start

  1. Sign in to HealUp (authentication required)
  2. Settings → Integrations → Outlook Calendar
  3. Click "Enable iCal Export"
  4. Copy iCal subscription URL
  5. Add to Outlook Calendar
  6. Completed tasks appear automatically

Total setup time: 3 minutes


iCal Subscription

HealUp generates:
- Unique iCal feed URL
- Contains completed tasks as events
- Updates every 15 minutes

Outlook:
- Subscribes to feed
- Auto-refreshes
- Displays as calendar events

Outlook Web (outlook.com / office.com)

  1. Get iCal URL from HealUp

    • Settings → Integrations → Outlook Calendar
    • Click "Enable iCal Export"
    • Copy URL
  2. Open Outlook Calendar (web)

    • Go to outlook.com or office.com
    • Click Calendar
  3. Add Calendar

    • Left sidebar → "Add calendar"
    • Click "Subscribe from web"
  4. Paste URL

    • Paste HealUp iCal URL
    • Name: "HealUp Tasks"
    • Choose color
    • Click Import
  5. Verify

    • Complete a task in HealUp
    • Wait 15-20 minutes
    • Check Outlook Calendar

Outlook Desktop (Windows/Mac)

Windows

  1. Get iCal URL from HealUp

  2. Open Outlook Desktop

  3. Add Internet Calendar

    • File → Account Settings → Internet Calendars → New
  4. Paste URL

    • Paste HealUp iCal URL
    • Name: "HealUp Tasks"
    • Update limit: 15 minutes
    • OK

macOS

  1. Get iCal URL from HealUp

  2. Open Outlook for Mac

  3. Add Calendar

    • Tools → Accounts
    • Add → Internet Calendar
    • Paste URL
    • Add

Event Details

Title:

Time:

  • Shows completion time
  • Duration: Actual time spent
  • Or all-day event (configurable)

Description:

Completed in HealUp

What Exports

Task Completions:

  • Task name
  • Completion timestamp
  • Duration
  • Step count

Optional:

  • Full step breakdown
  • Time per step
  • Task notes

Limitations

One-Way Only:

  • HealUp → Outlook only
  • No sync back from Outlook
  • Calendar is record, not source

Subscription Refresh:

  • 15-minute delay possible
  • Not instant like app integrations

  1. Export HealUp tasks to work calendar
  2. Review for timesheet preparation
  3. Visual record of client work

Benefit: Automatic time logging without manual entry.

Team Visibility

Scenario: Share progress with team

Setup:

  1. Export to shared Office 365 calendar
  2. Team sees completed work
  3. Transparent progress tracking

Benefit: Accountability without status meetings.


Does this work with Office 365?

Yes. Outlook Calendar includes Office 365 / Microsoft 365 calendars.

Can I use personal and work Outlook?

Yes, but one calendar per HealUp account. Choose which Outlook to export to.

Do I need Outlook Premium?

No. Works with free Outlook.com and standard Office 365.

Can I import from Outlook to HealUp?

No. Export only. Use Microsoft To Do integration for two-way sync (coming soon).

What if I change jobs and lose Outlook access?

Regenerate iCal URL, add to new calendar. Old subscription stops working when account closes.
